Transportation: Ryan Air, rental car in Alghero
Lodging: Airbnb, Lo Sperona: Alghero, Italy
We arrived in Alghero and got our rental car with no problem. I had brought my GPS for us to use in the car and that got us around perfectly! After we checked into our airbnb, we walked about 10 minutes to the Lido beach in Alghero. The sand was so powdery and the water so warm and relaxing! This was the perfect way to start our vacay!!! The first night we wanted to explore Alghero. It is such a cute town with great shops and restaurants. It took a little time for us to find parking initially, but we got parked and then set out to check out the town. The sun will definitely make you tired and hungry so we found a placed called Antiche Mura and had a nice dinner.
The next day we had breakfast at our airbnb and hit up 2 beaches. First up was Spiaggia di Mugoni. We spent 2-3 hours basking in the sun and playing in the ocean, but mama and baby got a little sleepy, so we took her back for a little nap and we hit up one more beach before dinner time called Spiaggia delle bombarde.

This night was extra special because we had dinner at an Agriturismo Sa Mandra in Alghero. This place was beyond awesome! For about 40 Euro per person you get probably 6 courses, wine, and a beautiful, fun experience. If you are ever in the Alghero area, this is a MUST! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and you get a little dose of local culture and flair. I recommend emailing them to ask for a reservation and it was really as easy as that! We loved it so much we really tried to get reservations for the next night too, but it was unfortunately full.

The last day we had intended on going to 2 new beaches, but our first beach was so amazing that we just couldn't break up with it! All of us were quite comfortable enjoying the shallow, clear warm waters at La Pelosa. Our last night in Alghero, we found some great street art and devoured some yummy homemade pasta dishes.

The next morning we packed up and had to head back to Frankfurt. It was sad to say goodbye to the amazing people, beaches, and food in Italy, but I have a feeling it's not goodbye, just see you later!
