We had heard from multiple people that Naples wasn't that great. We didn't really get much of a chance to see "Naples" but after hearing other friends' rumblings, we decided to get off the beaten path on this cruise stop!
I found a tour group called AP tours that allowed me to create our own tour group that consisted of us and our friends. We allowed for up to 16 people to join the group and once we reached that number I would go free! It was quite a challenge to see if how big our group grew up until cruise day, but we hit the magic number! This made the full day tour about 40 Euro per person (since we divided my free tour amongst the 4 of us).
The company picked us up outside the terminal. We met the rest of our group and we were off to drive the Amalfi coast!! The views were absolutely gorgeous! I could have driven the coast all day, but obviously time didn't allow for that. These pictures are great, but don't even show the beauty there!
We made a stop at a wood factory that showed us their craft and allowed us to walk around and pet the stray dogs. From there we headed to Sorrento. We had about 2 hours to grab some Napolese pizza, limoncello, and walk the cute streets of the town. We even had time to walk through a small lemon grove. Due to recent rain we were not able to get to Positano, which was really a bummer, but we put on our smiles and made the best of it.
Woodmaker/Veneers giving us a demonstration of their craft!
Overall, Naples proved to be a great stop on our Winter cruise! It was warm, sunny, beautiful, and full of culture, food, and history. I think we could definitely spend more quality time here in the future! I'd love to take a tour up to the top of Vesuvius. I fully recommend you add this area to your travel list in Europe!

When in "Sorrento" you must have Limoncello!
This tour was great because it also took us to Pompeii. We had a guided tour through the ruins and really learned so much about that time in history. Not to mention we had a great view of the devastatingly beautiful Mount Vesuvius. This really is a must see if you are ever in this part of Italy. The grounds are huge and they haven't even finished excavating all of the ruins. These people were super smart cookies and very advanced for that time period.

Yes this is what you think it is! Follow this to find the brothel!
